Full Height
A single run of panels covering the window from frame to sill. It is the style we fit most often, and for good reason: one clean line, the same light and privacy control across the whole window, and a look that suits almost any room.

Frequently Asked Questions
Full height is the most widely fitted configuration across the homes we work in. It suits most standard windows and gives you the cleanest finish across the full frame.
Cafe style covers the lower half of the window only, with the upper glass left open permanently. Tier on tier covers the full window with separate upper and lower panels that each operate independently, giving you full coverage when needed and flexible partial coverage when not.
Yes. It is common to use full height in living rooms and bedrooms, cafe style in a street-facing kitchen, and tier on tier on a tall sash window. We specify each room individually based on what suits the window and how the room is used.
The shutter panels themselves look the same. The difference is in how they open. Tracked shutters slide rather than swing, which changes the hardware at the top of the frame but not the appearance of the shutters when closed. Bifold shutters use that tracked/folding movement specifically for bifold door openings.
Yes. Bay windows are one of our most common installations. The panel configuration requires careful planning at each face of the bay, which we work through at survey stage.
Solid panels are often comparable in price to louvred shutters, but the final price depends on size, configuration, and material. The main difference is how they function: solid panels favour darkness and privacy, while louvres give finer daytime control.
