Shutter Warranty and Aftercare

Hardwood has a 5-year manufacturer guarantee and Polycomposite has a 10-year manufacturer guarantee.

The cover includes manufacturing and material defects under the written terms. Where we completed the original installation, the workmanship of that installation is also covered.

Your written order terms confirm the start date, scope and conditions that apply to your shutters.

The guarantee does not cover misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by using Hardwood in a wet room.

It also does not cover damage caused by unapproved cleaners, solvents, abrasives, modification or improper maintenance. The written terms supplied with your order are the controlling record.

Contact us with your name, installation address and order reference if you have it. Describe the problem and include clear photographs where possible.

We review the information and arrange an in-person assessment when the cause or cover cannot be confirmed from the initial details.

If the fault is covered, we arrange the appropriate manufacturer remedy at no cost. That may include repair, replacement parts, refitting, refinishing or another suitable solution.

If your shutters need repair, restoration, replacement parts or refitting, Shutter Installation handles work on existing shutters.

The service can assess the fault and explain the available options even when the original manufacturer guarantee no longer applies.
