Plantation Shutters in Epsom
Bespoke plantation shutters across KT17 and KT18 Epsom, from the Victorian villas around Adelphi Road and Worple Road through the 1930s family streets along Hook Road and the larger detached homes towards Woodcote and the Downs.
Family-run design, measuring, and installation by the same team. Both Hardwood and Polycomposite are available on Express or Plan & Save; we recommend the material by room conditions and whether real timber character matters.

Why Choose Us
Why Surrey homeowners choose us
A good set of shutters is only half the job. The rest is who measures them, who fits them, and whether the price was fair. Here is how we work across Surrey and South West London.
One team, start to finish
No subcontractors. The people who measure your windows are the people who fit them, and the same people you ring afterwards. We have been doing exactly this for over 15 years.
Two ways to order
In a hurry? Express shutters are UK-made and usually fitted in 2 to 3 weeks. Got a little time? Plan & Save takes around 8 to 9 weeks and uses the lower Plan & Save rate. Same survey, same fitters.
Made to last
Polycomposite is waterproof, reinforced, better insulated, and covered by a 10-year manufacturer guarantee. Hardwood gives real basswood character with the same premium painted finish and a 5-year manufacturer guarantee.
Honest advice, room by room
We recommend what suits the room and the way you use it. The material decision is not about price: both materials cost the same, so the advice stays practical.
The Epsom housing landscape
Epsom spans KT17 and KT18 and runs from the market-town High Street up to the racecourse on the Downs. We work across the Victorian and Edwardian villas around Adelphi Road, Worple Road, and Pound Lane, the 1930s bay-fronted semis along Hook Road, Christ Church Road, and the streets towards Ewell, the larger detached homes through Woodcote and the College Road conservation area, and the newer apartment schemes around the High Street and Ashley Road.
That mix matters for shutter design. A 1900 Edwardian villa on Worple Road needs different proportions from a 1935 bay-fronted semi on Hook Road, and again from a 1980s detached home in Woodcote. We measure each window individually and recommend the shutter layout, frame depth, and material that work for that opening.
Where shutters matter most in an Epsom home
Bay-fronted Edwardian and Victorian villas around Adelphi Road, Worple Road, and Pound Lane are usually the first priority. Full-height shutters with hidden tilt on a 76mm louvre keeps the proportions reading correctly, with tier-on-tier on the taller ground-floor sashes where daytime street privacy matters.
1930s semis along Hook Road, Christ Church Road, and the streets towards Ewell are the second pattern. The angled bay reveals shape the panels naturally, and full-height shutters with hidden tilt on a 76mm louvre is the most common spec.
Larger detached homes through Woodcote and the College Road conservation area are the third common priority. Mixed Hardwood / Polycomposite schemes across the whole house, with the bathroom-grade range running through wet areas.
Common Epsom shutter projects
Whole-house schemes on the 1930s semis along Hook Road, Christ Church Road, and the streets towards Ewell are one of our most common Epsom project types. A typical project covers 7 to 10 windows, single-day fit, often a mixed Hardwood / Polycomposite spec.
Edwardian villa fits around Adelphi Road, Worple Road, and Pound Lane are the second pattern. 9 to 12 windows, full-height shutters the most common starting point, with tier-on-tier on the front reception bays where the front gardens are short.
Woodcote and College Road detached fits are the third common project. 10 to 15 windows, larger Hardwood schemes the typical brief, day to day-and-a-half fit.
From first visit to fitted shutters
The consultation is a single home visit, usually 45 to 60 minutes for a flat or semi and 60 to 90 minutes for a Woodcote or College Road detached home. We measure every window, bring physical samples of both ranges, and leave with a written specification and quote within a couple of working days. There is no obligation at the visit and no deposit until you confirm the order.
For the College Road conservation area we confirm any consent requirements at the survey before manufacture. Most Epsom installations are completed in a single day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The team covers the whole Epsom area, from KT17 (the town centre, Ewell side, Hook Road) through KT18 (Woodcote, the Downs side, College Road). Surveys and installation visits within KT17 and KT18 are free of travel charge.
Full-height shutters with hidden tilt on a 76mm louvre are the most common specification across the Hook Road and Christ Church Road semis. Bay angles are measured precisely at the survey because the original bays rarely sit on the assumed 90 degrees.
Regularly. The Edwardian villas around Adelphi Road, Worple Road, and Pound Lane are one of our common Epsom project types. Full-height shutters with hidden tilt suits the proportions, with tier-on-tier on the taller front-bay sashes where the front gardens are short.
Yes. The larger 1980s and later detached homes through Woodcote and the streets towards the Downs are a frequent Epsom project type. Whole-house Hardwood schemes the typical brief, mixed in with Polycomposite through bathrooms and utility rooms.
A 6 to 10 window Epsom home is normally fitted in a single day. Larger Woodcote and College Road detached homes (10 to 15 windows) run a full day to a day and a half. We confirm the realistic estimate in writing before the date is booked.
