Yes. Wood shutters and wooden shutters are common search terms for our Hardwood range. They are made from real timber rather than waterproof Polycomposite, and they are intended for dry rooms.

Hardwood suits living rooms, bedrooms, studies, dining rooms and conservatories. For bathrooms, wet rooms or spaces with regular steam and condensation, choose waterproof Polycomposite instead.

Yes. Custom colour matching is available on Hardwood only. White remains our main recommendation because it works with changing walls, furniture and finishes, while the survey and written specification confirm any custom colour request.

They can be. Hardwood has a lighter panel weight than Polycomposite, which can be useful when a dry-room design needs larger panels. The survey still confirms panel widths, hinges, frame support and the final opening arrangement.

Hardwood is available in full height, tier on tier, cafe, bifold and tracked louvred styles. It is also the only material available for solid panel shutters. Shaped shutters are confirmed from the measured opening.

Plan & Save Hardwood shutters cost £260 per square metre with an 8-9 week lead time. British-made Express Hardwood costs £380 per square metre with a 2-3 week lead time.
