The total depends on window size, style, material, and how you order. Standard shutter pricing is per square metre: Express Polycomposite is GBP315/sqm, Express Hardwood is GBP380/sqm, and Plan & Save is GBP260/sqm for both materials. Bays, tier-on-tier panels, shaped windows, and tracked doors need a survey before we can price them properly. You get a written quote after the survey, with no obligation and no pushy follow-up.
It depends which way you order. Express shutters are UK-made and usually fitted in about 2 to 3 weeks. Plan & Save shutters are made overseas to the same spec and take around 8 to 9 weeks at the lower Plan & Save rate. We confirm the exact date at the survey, before any deposit is taken.
Both have a premium painted finish, but Express pricing differs by material: Polycomposite is GBP315/sqm and Hardwood is GBP380/sqm. Plan & Save is GBP260/sqm for both. Polycomposite is waterproof, reinforced, better for thermal and noise insulation, and carries a 10-year guarantee. Hardwood is real basswood with timber character and a 5-year guarantee.
No. The survey is free across our service area in Surrey and South West London. We measure the windows, check the reveal and handle clearances, talk through style and material options, and leave you with a written quotation. No deposit is taken at the survey stage.
A manufacturer guarantee against defects: 5 years on Hardwood, 10 years on Polycomposite. The written guarantee confirms what is covered for the material you choose. It does not cover misuse, accidental damage, or Hardwood used in wet rooms.

Interior plantation shutters sit inside the room, so they are usually straightforward in ordinary conservation areas because they do not replace the window. Listed buildings are different: internal changes can still need consent if they affect character. If your home is listed, check with the local authority or conservation officer before ordering.
